Brief
You send drawings, CAD, spec and any photos of the piece. We come back with a quote and a schedule.
Grey model
Geometry only, no materials yet. You approve the case, the dial and the bracelet fit before rendering starts.
Look development
Materials and lighting on one test frame, so the direction is agreed before the full set is produced.
Renders
The complete set arrives in the resolutions and formats you asked for, ready for print and for web.
Revisions
Two rounds of changes come with the project, not as an extra line at the end of the invoice.
The brief for a watch 3D modeling project
Four things, and none of them take long to put together before the 3D modeling starts.
- CAD or STEP files if the watch was designed digitally. If it was not, technical drawings with case diameter, thickness, lug width and the dial layout.
- Photos of the real piece from a few angles. Phone quality is fine, we are reading materials, not resolution.
- Material references: the exact shade of the gold, the finish on the bracelet, the colour of the strap.
- Images you like, whether they come from your own catalogue or from someone else entirely. It saves a round of guessing.
Watch 3D modeling price and timing
A full watch project runs about 1,000 USD and takes seven days: 760 for the 3D model, 120 for the digital finishes, 120 for rendering in context. That is what two of the projects above actually cost. Work beyond the package is billed at 20 USD per hour.
